A police captain quoted Armbruster as saying he believed his wife, the former Mrs. Harry Libby, jr., was "bluffing" when she threatened to end her life following an all-night quarrel, according to an Associated Prtss dis-dispatch received by the News. The second husband, a salesman, said his wife fired a shot into her right temple after he had shown her how to use a revolver. He was held for investigation and released after he had twice been questioned under a "lie detector." Libby, federal court reporter, and former Union Pacific office employe here, who was divorced from Mrs. Armbruster last November, told police his former wife had severU times threatened to commit suicide while intoxicated. The child, who until recently was living with its grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Hariy Libby, sr., 406 Calhoun street, is visiting with her grandmother, Mrs. G. Mohler of Robinson. Mrs. Armbruster was born in Robinson, and was living there at the time of her marriage to Libby. Mrs. Armbruster left a note with the apartment hotel clerk addressed to her former husband. I dare you." Armbruster said he dropped the weapon on a couch, and turned hia back, believing his wife was bluffing. An explosion followed, and turning, he saw his wife drop to the floor.
