The first body of a Montgomery County solider killed in action in Korea was scheduled to arrive in Clarksville today.
The body of Pfc Joe C Sisk, 19, who was killed Aug 15 1950, was expected at the Harvey W Hunt Chapel this afternoon. Funeral services have been set at 3:30 pm tomorrow at the chapel. The Rev W J Redden will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Clarksville Post of the American Legion will be in charge of the burial. Private Sisk was the son of Mr and Mrs B E Sisk. He was born in Evansville IN Oct 7 1931. His family moved to Clarksville several years ago and he graduated from Clarkaville High School.
He enlisted in the Army Oct 4 1949 and went overseas March 17 1950. He went Into battle July 18 with the First Cavalry Division. He is survived by his parents and three sisters, Mrs J R Hawkins and Misses Connie and Ida Gene Sisk, all of Clarksville.
