Private funeral services were held today for Mrs Emma Davis, 65, who was found shot to death in her apartment shortly before noon yesterday. A verdict of suicide was returned by Acting Coroner DC Lavender, following an Investigation. Rev Grover E Swoyer of the First Lutheran church, of which Mrs Davis was a member, was to officiate at the services, held at the Finefrock mortuary. Mrs Davis was the widow of the late Dr Maxwell J Davis, who 30 years ago was county coroner and later city health commissioner. She is survived by a son, Dr Kenneth Davis, Upper Sandusky; a daughter, Mrs Ralph Clark, Amanda OH; and four grandchildren.
