He was twice wounded in action and received two Purple Hearts.&pe&He was born May 12, 1923 in Ankerton, Alberta, Canada to Chester and Olivia Twitchell. He served as Chief of Police for Snohomish, WA and was elected as Sheriff of Snohomish County where he served for several terms.
