Interment will follow in Woodlawn
Memorial Park. Grandsons will
serve as Active Pallbearers.

Funeral rites for James E. Sanderson, 63, who died In a Nahville hospital after a few days serious illness, were conducted Monday, July 17, by the pastor of the Methodist Church, the Rev George W. Baxter. The Daniel Quartet had charge of the songs, rendering appropriate selectins and burial was in the Riverview Cemetery. Mr. Sanderson was a native of Montgomery County but had made his home in the Stampers Chapel Community until the area was absorbed into the Camp Campbell project. He was a member of the Methodist Church at Stamper’s Chapel. Surviving are his wife, four daughters. Mrs. Mack Smith. Nashville, Mrs. C.B. Cobb, Adams, Mrs. Walter Weaver. Detroit, and Mrs. J.T. Willlams Lafayette, Ky, three sons, Herman and Noble Sanderson of Detroit, Mich. and Bryant Sanderson of the U.S. Navy, two sisters, Mrs. Callie Minnehan, Woodlawn and Mrs. Viola Foster, Clarksville; two brothers, B.R. and Mannie Sanderson of Clarksville.

A native of Stewart County, Mrs Sanderson was the daughter of the late Milas and Elizabeth Harrell Bryant, She was the widow of the late James Elliott Sanderson.
She is survived by three sons, Vernon Sanderson of Royal Oaks, Michigan; Noble Sanderson of Hopkinsville; and Bryant Sanderson of Madison; and four daughters, Mrs Mack Smith of Nashville, Mrs. BC Cobb of Adams; Mrs Bertie Weaver of Madison Heights, Michigan; and Mrs JT Williams of Hopkinsville; one brother, Offie Bryant of Evansville, Indiana; and one sister, Mrs Viola Cato of Hopkinsville; 31 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildrren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church of Hopkinsville.
