Services for Mrs Ike Wallace, 84, who died in a Clarkfville. nursing home Thursday, will be today at the Cumberland City Methodist church.
The Rev Howard Springer and Rev Eunis Crowe will officiate and burial will be in the Cumberland City cemetery. Mrs Wallace, the former Annie L Wyatt was a native of Stewart county, daughter of Ervin and Adilee Rose Wyatt.
Surviving are three sons H G and B T Wallace of Cumberland City and Bill of Clarksville; three daughters, Mrs Lurton Stinson of Clarksville; Mrs Harrison Melton of Granite City IL, and Mrs Hubert Brooks of Lincoln Park MI; three sisters, Miss Florence Wyatt of Bumpus Mills, Mrs Lynn Barnett of Hopkinsville, and Mrs Eudora Parker of Nashville; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Isaac Newton Wallace, 69 years old, who died Thursday afternoon at his home in Cumberland City, were to be held this afternoon at the Cumberland City Baptist, Church with the pastor, the Rev J R Hicks, officiating, assisted by the Rev Vernon MeGhee. A choir will sing "In the Sweet By and By." "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere" and "Will the Circle Be Unbroken" at the church, with Mrs C C Trinkle accompanying at the piano. He was to be burled in the Cumberland City Cemetery. Pallbearers were to be Sid Shannon, H J Stinson, Johnny Stinson, John Parchment, Nim Wyatt, Plummer Parvers. Leo McOustash, Cooksey Bayer, Leslie Daniels, Alex Dougherty, Grant Landlss.
Mr Wallace was born in 1872 near Tobacco Port, TN, and spent his entire life in Stewart County. He was married to Miss Annie Wyalt 49 years ago, and 27 years later moved to Cumberland City, where he has resided since. Although not a member of any church, he was partial to the "Hard Side Baptist," which he supported generously. He was known for his generosity to his neighbors and friends all over the county, especially to those who were less fortunate than he.
Surviving Mr Wallace are his wife; six daughters. Mrs A A Landau of Clarksvllle; Mrs H M Melton, Granite City IL; Mrs Scott Holmes, Mrs Linton Stinson, Mrs Hubert Brooks, and Miss Hazel Wallace, all of Cumberland City; two sons, Byron Wallace, Cumberland City, and Ike Wallace Jr, Baltimore MD, one sister, Mrs R L McCoy, Bumpus Mills TN, and eight grandchildren.
