Survivors are his wife; eight daughters, Mrs. Margaret Young and Mrs Norma Rose Scott of California, Mrs Mary Kimball of St Paul, Mrs Norma Shipp of Fayetteville, Mrs Susie Morgan of Van Buren, Mrs Nellie Hulse of Fayetteville, Mrs Sirenie Cook of Tulsa OK, and Mrs Dealie Robinson of Alma; three sons, Johnnie and Charlie of Kansas City KS, and Sammie of St Paul; a stepson, Stant Riley of Huntsville; and two-sisters, Mrs Lizzie Mayes and Mrs Cassie Lucas of Kansas City. Funeral services were held November 17 at 2 pm at White Oak Chapel by the Rev Edward Smith.

Charles W Mayes, 75, of St Paul died Tues, July 13, in a Fayetteville hospital. He was a retired Pentecostal pastor. He is survived by his wife Lorene; three daughters, Margaret Masterson, Charlotte Garnett and Barbara Trunty, all of Missouri; four sons, Lloyd of Kansas City, Gordon, Ricky and Charles, all of St. Paul; four sisters, Marguerite Mason of Doverman, Susan Morgan of Van Buren, Nora Mae Shipp of Fayetteville, and Norma Scott of California; 20 grandchildren and 4 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services were July 15 at St Paul Full Gospel Church with Doyle Baker officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Clarksville.

Lourne Mayes, 70, of St Paul died May 28, 1997 at the Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born February 7, 1927 at Catalpa AR, the daughter of Orvllle and Rose Bell Cowan Robinson. She was a homemaker and a member of the St Paul Full Gospel Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev Charles Walter Mayes, in 1982. Survivors include four sons, Gordon Mayes and Lloyd Mayes both of St Paul, Ricky Mayes of Prairie Grove, and Charles Mayes of West Fork; three daughters, Charlotte Garnett and Margrette Masterson both of Kansas City MO, and Barbara Prunty of Congress Georgia; three sisters, Virgie Lea Robinson of Oark, Mozelle Cowan and Maxine Chesser both of Clarksville; one uncle, Delmar Robinson of Clarksville; one aunt, Lillie Cowan of Clarksville; 29 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 31 at the St Paul Full Gospel Church with the Rev Doyle Baker officiating. Interment was in the Riverside Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home. Pallbearers were David Masterson, Robert Gregory, Robert James Gregory, Rick Thacker, Lanny Edens, and Leroy Mayes.
