State police on Saturday identified the victims of Friday's double fatal accident as a Milwaukie couple. Gary Will Spencer, 57, and Margaret Elizabeth Spencer, 48, died at the scene of the head-on collision about 2 p.m. just north of Idanha, dispatch supervisor Gary Jones said. The occupants of the other car, Kerri Linn Caves, 26, and Skyler Drew Coffman, 3, both of Bend, remained in Emanuel Hospital, in Portland on Saturday night. Caves was listed in serious condition with a broken right leg and head and abdominal injuries. The boy, who had head and facial injuries, improved to fair condition. Trooper Mark Cotter said Caves was eastbound on Highway 22 when she lost control of her Chevrolet Camaro on a curve. The car crossed over the center line as it entered a straight stretch, colliding with the Spencers' car, he said. The accident remained under investigation Saturday.
