Mr and Mrs Mack T Smith announce the marriage of their daughter, Eleanor Ruth, to Cpl Joseph W Wooten, son of Mrs Ernest Parker. The ceremony took place September 16 at the post chapel in Northern Field, Tullahoma, where Corporal Wooten is stationed. Lt Owen C Jones, United States Army Chaplain Corps, was the officiant. The bride attended Isaac Litton High School and is now making her home with her parents on Riverside Drive.

Survived by wife, Mrs: Myrtle Sanderson Smith; daughters, Mrs. Bill Wooten of Nashville and Mrs. Lonie Hamilton of Homewood, Illinois; sons, Harold C. Smith of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and Edice R. Smith of Nashville; 14 grandchildren and one great- grandchild. Remains are in the Rose Room of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Thompson Lane. Services will be conducted in the Woodlawn Chapel of Roses, Saturday, June 22, 1968 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev David Coleman. Honorary pallbearers, Coleman H.H.H. class of Riverside Baptist Church.
